The Green Seal is an initiative of the Jornal do Meio Ambiente do Estado de São Paulo [Environmental Journal of the State of São Paulo], with IBAMA, the Ministry of the Environment and the State Secretariats of Environment from the Southern, Southeast, North, Northeast, Midwest regions.

The PPR – Prêmio Plásticos em Revista [Plastics Magazine Award] is open to the participation of companies that operate in the plastics market, such as manufacturers, distributors or resellers of raw materials; service providers or purchasers of plastic products. Rafitec has a new productive area in its structure exclusively dedicated to the production of Big Bags directed towards food. This new area, called “Clean Room”, it is a space designed and separated from common production, and has strict control to avoid the maximum polluting agents.

This certificate is made available through the Ports and Coasts Board, which complies with the provisions of NORMAM-05 / DPC (Maritime Authorities Approval Standards) and IMDG CODE (International Maritime Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods) and allows maritime mode transport. Conformity seals allow the provision of packaging for the transport of various types of dangerous products falling within risk groups II and III, for example: process wastes which may contain dangerous agents and which require adequate and safe transport (cloths, covers, PPE), equipment contaminated with oil, materials with paint sludge, ammonium nitrate, among others.
